Genelec HT315A Active Speaker System

The Genelec HT315A is a three-way active loudspeaker system including speaker drivers, speaker enclosure, multiple power amplifiers and active, low signal level crossovers. Designed for medium-sized listening environments this system is ideal for use in stereo or home theatre installations where broad bandwidth, high SPL's and extended low frequency response are essential. The HT315A is designed to perform well both as free-standing loudspeaker or flush mounted into a correctly designed front wall.

The unique Directivity Control Waveguide ™ (DCW ™) Technology used provides excellent sound imaging and frequency balance even in difficult acoustic environments. Versatile crossover controls allow for precise matching of the loudspeaker system to different acoustic conditions. The system can be used both in vertical and horizontal orientation by simply rotating the DCW unit.

The system is very easy to use as only mains power and input signal are needed. All drivers are magnetically shielded as standard to minimize stray magnetic field.

The amplifier panel features an ‘Autostart’ function and two types of remote switching terminals: a 12V trigger and a contact closure switch. The amplifier panel also includes a DIP-switch set that allows the user to turn the LED indicator On or Off. If On is selected, there is another dip switch that enables the LED to show Standby (yellow) and Overload (red) or only Standby.

A rack mount adapter is available so that the amplifier section can be positioned separately from the enclosure when flush mounted. This allows for better and easier amplifier cooling and easier access to the Tone Control DIP switches during in-room system calibration.
