Russia is not a name that one thinks of in the context of state of the art Home Cinema systems, but think again: Russia is now a country that has some of the most exciting new home cinemas anywhere in the world.

Alexandra Skaryatin and Dmitri Leonento of Oasis Theatres one of Russia's leading HT installers handle about 20 or so installs a year and have a number of high profile customers under their belt.

15 Km south of Moscow is the Golden City located on the Kylazama River and this is where the owner of this lovely and minimalist house wanted to have a "cosy" home cinema. Alex and Dmitri delivered a state of the art room simply bristling with the latest technology.

Genelec AIW in wall speakers are in keeping with the restrained feel of this lovely room, the rest of the equipment is equally impressive, with projection by Barco and control using a Crestron Pronto touch panel.

 

Grey and red abounds and although this was larger than the word "cosy" implies it is certainly the epitome of comfort.
