New Rack Mount Amplifiers for Active 3-Way Speaker Systems
Genelec has updated its smaller active 3-way models for Custom Install with a new rack mountable amplifier unit. The new RAM4 amplifier is included in the AOW312B and HT312B speaker systems. The RAM5 unit is dedicated to the HT315B and HT320BC models.
This new 19” 3U high amplifier unit takes less than half of the rack space needed before and enables easier and faster installations. Each amplifier is factory calibrated with the individual loudspeaker they are shipped with in order to eliminate the effects of component tolerances and ensuring consistent quality and long term reliability.
This amplifier update does not affect the acoustical performance of the mentioned loudspeaker models in any way. Also, the loudspeaker cabinet dimensions remain the same. However, the model number of the loudspeakers changes from ‘A’ to ‘B’ models.
