Leading UK audio visual installer FAB AV, recently won a hat-trick of prizes at the CEDIA Awards – the most prestigious awards ceremony in European custom installation. The Hertfordshire-based company achieved an unprecedented clean sweep of the prizes on offer in the home cinema categories. The judges acknowledged FAB AV’s technical skill and design creativity in all their winning entries. The three projects all feature loudspeakers from Genelec.

The CEDIA Awards are held annually to reward the best custom installation projects both in the UK and internationally. FAB AV, headed up by Jeremy Turner, MD, is the first installer to win three prizes in one year. One of the keys to their success, he believes, is specifying excellent products in all areas of a home cinema scheme:

“Audio is often the poor relation in the audio visual partnership, he says. “Many installers overlook it, or settle for second best. FAB doesn’t. We’ve been saying for years that ‘pound for pound’ Genelec make the best speakers on the market, in fact I use them for my own system. Following our success I’m sure many others in the sector will come round to this way of thinking.”
