Among his recent projects has been the installation of a palatial home cinema in the Naples home of a leading software entrepreneur. As you would expect, this client already had the ultimate automated smarthome, and he wanted the very best in home cinema.
Once it was completed, Home Cinema Choice Editor Jim Hill visited the spacious 12 seater home cinema. It was the largest home cinema he had ever visited. The room has been equipped with a 7.1 sound system comprises 14 Genelec monitors and two subwoofers, mostly installed behind the fabric walls and mounted in the ceiling. Jim found their performance in such a cavernous room, mind-blowing.
Mike explained: ‘ Genelec’s active monitors are the only way to guarantee a truly visceral cinema experience in a room of this size’.
The system lowdown: Two Genelec left and right 1034B front speakers, two 1034 BC centres, six 1037 sides and two 1037 rears and two AIW in-wall speakers installed in the ceiling.
