At ISE 2010 on booth 1K73/1L72, Genelec, the leading manufacturer of active loudspeaker solutions, will preview ‘Audio Distribution over IP’ - a groundbreaking, new and cost effective technology for future products. Designed to transport (with minimal latency) uncompressed, high-quality audio over a standard LAN network, this new solution enables accurate synchronization of loudspeakers on the network to create complex, multi-channel IP-based audio systems.

Genelec, pioneer in Active Monitoring technology, is also a leader in high-quality, discreet, low-profile in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeaker design. A recent installation for an upscale residential media room in the Los Angeles area featured a combination of Genelec AIW25 Active In-Wall, AIC25 Active In-Ceiling and the 5041A Active In-Wall Subwoofer in an aesthetically pleasing architectural design.

Genelec will take part in Helsinki Madrid FinDesign, the main exhibition of the Finnish Design Month event to be organised in Madrid. The exhibition will open on 4 November 2009 at the Matadero Madrid contemporary art centre and run until 10 January 2010. At the exhibition, Genelec will be showcasing a series of active loudspeakers and subwoofers.
The latest product to come out of the ten-year collaboration between loudspeaker manufacturer Genelec and designer Harri Koskinen is small but feisty. The technology and design behind the active two-way loudspeaker Genelec 6010A and the active subwoofer Genelec 5040A have been refined over a long time.
