Genelec HT320BC Active Speaker System

The Genelec HT320BC is designed as a dedicated center channel loudspeaker for three channel (LCR) and Surround systems. Its slim and compact cabinet has been designed for optimum placement in the limited space above or below a screen. As an alternative to the standard HT315AB cabinet where space is limited, the DCW waveguide of the HT320BC may be rotated to allow use of the cabinet in vertical orientation for left or right main or surround channels.

As its name suggests, the Genelec HT320BC is best suited for use as a center channel loudspeaker with a pair of Genelec HT315B active loudspeakers. The HT320BC employs the same midrange, treble drivers and Directivity Control Waveguide ™ (DCW™) as a standard HT315A, as well as the same RAM5 amplifier unit to ensure complete tonal compatibility.

Genelec HT320BC is a three-way active loudspeaker system including magnetically shielded speaker drivers, speaker enclosure, multiple power amplifiers and low signal level crossovers. Designed for medium sized home theaters this system is also ideal for any environment where broad bandwidth, high SPL's and extended low frequency response are essential.

The amplifier panel features an ‘Autostart’ function and two types of remote switching terminals: a 12V trigger and a contact closure switch. The amplifier panel also includes a DIP-switch set that allows the user to turn the LED indicator On or Off. If On is selected, there is another dip switch that enables the LED to show Standby (yellow) and Overload (red) or only Standby.

The separate amplifier unit is built into a rack mount chassis for easy fitting into a standard 19" equipment rack.
