Active Large Speaker Systems

The Genelec Active Large Speaker Systems are very powerful loudspeaker systems. They consist of one large speaker enclosure and one equipment rack containing active crossovers, power amplifiers and driver protection circuitry.

These loudspeakers are designed for flush mounting in the theater wall, although they may, in certain installation,  be used free standing. The systems can be used in vertical and horizontal orientations by rotating the DCW waveguide units.

Precise room response adjustments allow perfect match to the acoustic conditions in different rooms. The frequency response consistency and robustness ensured by the unique Directivity Control Waveguide™ (DCW™) Technology provides excellent sound stage imaging and frequency balance even in acoustically difficult rooms.
